The World Poker Finals Tournament of the World Poker Tour

At the final table, he defeated his fellow superstars including Andy Bloch, Layne Flack, Ron Rose, Peter Giordano and Phil Ivey. All in all, he won a total of $320,400 from that particular tournament alone.
The second season of the World Poker Tour had a different story for this tournament. This time, it was Hoyt Corkins who happily won the final table. He defeated the other poker greats who participated in the event including Mohamed Ibrahim, Brian Haveson, Christopher Ackerman, Phil Helmuth Jr., and V. S. Senthil Kumar. Corkins defeated all of them in a classic fashion, unending Ibrahim at the final round to get the $1,089,200 grand pot.
In the third season of the tour, it was Tuan Le's opportunity to enjoy the limelight after he bagged a victory at the final table of this tournament. He took home the grand prize amounting to $1,549,588 after getting the best out of runner up Temperance Hutter at the final round. Among the other poker greats that he defeated in the tournament are David Pham, J. C. Tran, Brad Berman and Humberto Brenes.
In the fourth season of the World Poker Tour, the poker players who made it to the final table of the World Poker Finals are Bill Gazes, Lyle, Berman, Anthony Licastro, Allen Cunningham, Leonard Cortellino and Nick Schulman. In the final round, it was Schulman who emerged triumphant over Licastro. He was able to take home winnings that amounted to $2,142,000.
The fifth and sixth seasons of the tour also became successful for this tournament. In the fifth season, it was Nenad Medic over E. G. Harvin in the final round. Medic defeated the likes of Michael Perry, Kathy Liebert, Michael Omelchuk and Mimi Tran to bag the pot which is valued at $1,717,194. In the sixth and latest season, Mike Vela defeated Nick Schulman in the final round to take home a total of $1,704,986 in winnings.
