The EPT Grand Final Tournament of the European Poker Tour

The EPT Grand Final is held annually at the very beautiful and enchanting Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort in Monaco. This poker tournament is the event of all events in the european poker Tour. All the best players who have successfully displayed their excellent and wonderful skills in poker throughout the entire season can be a part of this glorious event.

Almost every serious professional poker player out there anticipates this opportunity to put their names among the best players who have ever graced the world of poker. Those who made it to the EPT Grand Final are definitely good poker players who have worked their way to the top through hard work, the use of excellent poker strategies, patience and constant practice. By winning one of the qualifying poker tournaments organized by the European Poker Tour, players can have their way to the grand final which can increase their value as professional poker players. The qualifying events include the EPT Barcelona in Spain, the EPT London in England, and the EPT Baden Classic in Austria. Players can also reach the grand final tournament by winning other events like the EPT Dublin in Ireland, the EPT Warsaw in Poland, and the EPT Prague in the Czech Republic among others.

In the first season of the European Poker Tour, this final tournament was won by Rob Hollink of the Netherlands. He defied the odds by defeating other poker winners such as Brandon Schaefer of the U.S., whom he outlasted in the final round. Among the other international players that reached the final table are Mikhail Ustinov of Russia, Ben Grundy of England, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz of France, Kevin Seeger of the U.S., Romain Feriolo of Spain, and Alexander Stevic of Sweden. Hollink took home total winnings of 650,000 Euros.

The following season, the final tournament was won by Jeff Williams of the U.S. by beating Arshad Hussain of England in the final round. Williams was able to take home a grand total of 900,000 Euros. Among those he defeated in the final table are Fraser Dunphy of Scotland, Marcel Luske of the Netherlands, Ross Boatman of England, Thierry Cazals of France, Marc Karam of Canada, and Aleksander Strandli of Norway.

In the third season of the tour, Gavin Griffin of the U.S. took home the gold by defeating Marc Karam of Canada in the final round of this final poker tournament. In this event, Griffin was able to take home total winnings amounting to 1,825,010 Euros. Among the international finalists are Ram Vaswani and Steve Jelinek of the United Kingdom, Andrew Black of Ireland, Josh Prager of the U.S., Kristian Kjondal of Norway, and Soren Kongsgaard of Denmark.
